Our love story began in a coffee shop in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where Lisa was studying for her Masters Degree. Our first dates involved Lee making the drive to New Jersey from Pennsylvania to hang out with Lisa and indulge in delicious food – a match made in culinary heaven! Five months after we met, we faced our most difficult challenge; the world went into lockdown. Despite the pandemic, we stayed connected through countless FaceTime calls and virtual dates, which usually involved some kind of video game.
We both share a love for traveling and cooking, which brought us even closer together once the pandemic eased. Lisa taught Lee the ways of Korean BBQ and hotpot while Lee introduced Lisa to his simple comforts like steak, and cincinnati style chili.
Through our time together, Lee learned that Lisa was someone who he wanted to never let go of. So, on a crisp November night in Washington D.C., Lee surprised Lisa with a proposal at the Washington Monument. It was a magical moment that involved cold temperatures, unruly tourists, a ring that did not arrive on time (don’t worry Lee had a $20 backup), and memories that we will cherish forever.
As we look towards our future, we dream of traveling the world. We have traveled to Washington D.C., California, Pittsburgh, and Italy together and we look forward to embarking on our next great adventure, marriage.
To all of our cherished guests, we invite you to celebrate with us as we begin this new chapter of our lives. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we can't wait to share our special day with all of you. Thank you for being a part of our love story. Let the festivities begin!
